I started this blog for two reasons.

First, because sometime in the last two weeks, I realized that being a woman of my standing and situation (we’ll get to the specifics later) requires a helluva a lot more work than I find reasonable.

The second reason is because somebody offered to pay me for it. But that’s really not the point.

This blog contains the random ruminations on my life as a single twenty-something female in middle America. The work, the money, the lack of money, the men (sometimes the women…), the life. I’m no one in particular, but damn it… somebody needs to write down what this is like, because I’m not sure anybody else gets it.

So off we go…
